In today’s episode Rajan travels to Malawi to meet with leading entrepreneur, friend and Malawian, Mr Haroon Sacranie.
His story of determination is an inspiration to many, as despite being exiled in and out of the city based on the colour of his skin and the regular battle of opening and closing businesses, his perseverance prevailed and today he is a beacon of entrepreneurialism in the country.
Embedded in Malawi over five generations, he talks to us about how his identity is perceived by the locals and the many misperceptions people often have.
How many generations deep are you in your own country and how are you perceived? Share your comments below.
